Every treatment journey at Rass Psychiatry & Wellness Services begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. It's a structured but unhurried conversation — about what you're experiencing now, your history, your health, and what you want your life to look like. The goal is simple: clear answers and a plan that makes sense to you.
How we help
- A complete review of current symptoms, history, medical conditions, and medications
- Screening for anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, and substance use
- Evaluation for children (ages 6+), teens, and adults — with family input when appropriate
- A clear explanation of any diagnosis, in plain language
- A personalized treatment plan, with options discussed openly
What to expect
- 1
Before your visit
Complete your intake forms and gather any past records, medication lists, or school/work information that helps tell the story.
- 2
The evaluation
Typically 45–60 minutes of conversation — symptoms, history, health, sleep, stress, and goals. For children, parents join the discussion.
- 3
Your plan
You'll leave with a clear understanding of any diagnosis and recommended next steps — whether that's medication, therapy referrals, further testing, or simply monitoring.
